Steve Buscemi recreates his ‘How do you do, fellow kids?’ meme for Halloween

Steve Buscemi has dressed up as his own iconic “How do you do, fellow kids?” meme for Halloween.
The actor, who played a private investigator in a 2012 episode of ’30 Rock’, recreated the scene that has since taken on a life of its own online.
In the episode ‘The Tuxedo Begins’, the then 55-year-old actor is seen wearing a cap backwards and wields a skateboard as he unsuccessfully attempts to pass as a teenager.
Most memorable of is the line “How do you do, fellow kids?”, prompting internet users to use the line when someone pretends to be familiar with a community or culture.
Buscemi, now 63, was spotted revisiting the now iconic outfit for Halloween in the Park Slope neighbourhood in Brooklyn, New York, handing out sweets to trick-or-treaters.
He was also seen with neighbour Elvis Costello who took pictures with fans.
Last month, Deadline reported that the ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and ‘Boardwalk Empire’ actor had wrapped production on his latest directorial feature, ‘The Listener’.
The film, which stars Tessa Thompson and is written by Oscar nominee Alessandro Camon, tells the story of a helpline volunteer.
Deadline also reported that it features one on-screen role, sharing further plot details. “Over the last year, the tide has become a tsunami, and as Beth goes through her shift, the stakes rise: is this the night she will lose someone? Save someone? Put a mind at ease? Make someone smile? Eventually, Beth’s own story comes to light, revealing why she does it. All along we remain with her: listening, comforting, connecting – patching the world back together, one stitch at a time…”
Buscemi’s next credit is set to be in ‘Hotel Transylvania: Transformania’, where he will voice werewolf Wayne. It is currently slated for release on Amazon Prime on January 14, 2022.
