The groundbreaking Swedish car brand Volvo has been announced as the returning automotive partner for the Rolling Stone UK Awards, building on the success of their previous collaboration.
The Rolling Stone UK Awards 2024 are set to take place on 28 November at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden, London.
Darren Styles OBE, publisher of Rolling Stone UK, said of the continued partnership: “I am delighted Volvo Car UK is returning as automotive partner for the Rolling Stone UK Awards, and to have Volvo as a member of the Rolling Stone UK family of associated premium brands. Volvo’s longstanding position as a creative tour de force is a delicious fit for us and the artists we celebrate.”
In addition to serving as the automotive partner, Volvo Car UK will also sponsor a key award at the event, and even bring its electric flagship Volvo EX90 along for the night.
Nicole Melillo Shaw, Volvo Car UK Managing Director, said: “Volvo Car UK is delighted to collaborate again with the Rolling Stone UK Awards as the Automotive Partner. Both Volvo Cars and Rolling Stone are innovative, progressive brands that strive to deliver exactly what their audiences want, so the decision to continue our association was an easy one to make.
“We’re also really excited to have our fully electric flagship Volvo EX90 at the Awards. The EX90 is the start of a new era for Volvo Cars. It is our most advanced car ever and sets new standards for safety and people-focussed technology. It exudes star quality, so we are naturally proud to sponsor the Rolling Stone UK Album of the Year Award this year.”
The 2024 Rolling Stone UK Awards promises to be a night of celebration, featuring live performances and the recognition of outstanding achievements in the music industry. Winners, presenters, and VIP guests will arrive at the Roundhouse in style, transported in Volvo’s luxury vehicles.
While the event will host several hundred guests in person, Rolling Stone UK plans to extend the excitement beyond the venue. A multi-platform editorial campaign will leverage the magazine’s print, digital, and social media presence to create a far-reaching impact in the UK music scene.
With Volvo Car UK’s involvement as both a partner and award sponsor, the Rolling Stone UK Awards are poised to deliver another unforgettable experience that celebrates the best in music while showcasing the future of automotive innovation.
