The Prodigy hail Keith Flint on fifth anniversary of his death: ‘U are always with us’
“We live forever!”
The Prodigy have paid tribute to late frontman Keith Flint to mark the fifth anniversary of the singer’s death.
Flint took his own life at the age of 49 on March 4, 2019 at his home in Essex, with surviving members Liam Howlett and Maxim continuing the band in his honour.
Taking to X/Twitter today (March 4) to mark Flint’s anniversary, the pair said: “It’s been 5 years. We miss u so much brother.
“U are always with us, right by our side, every time the energy burns, every time the beat drop, unfadeable,” they added.
“We live forever! LH & Maxim.”
In 2021, a mural honouring Flint was unveiled in Hackney, London to mark World Suicide Prevention Day. Street artist Akse produced the work in partnership with the music and mental wellbeing festival, Headstock.
The band then returned for a comeback UK tour in 2022, telling fans: “This one’s for Flinty, now let’s fukin [sic] go!!”
