The 1975 drummer George Daniel has today shared his debut solo single, the pulsating dance hit ‘Screen Cleaner’.

The track is released on Daniel’s new Dirty Hit imprint dh2, which launched in London last month with an opening party featuring Daniel and the label’s first signing, Kelly Lee Owens.

At the dh2 launch party, Daniel and Owens played alongside Oscar Farrell and TimFromTheHouse to christen the new label.

It came after they announced Owens as their first signing, with new album Dreamstate arriving in October.

The night was closed by Daniel, who played a set of raucous pop and house, joined in the booth by his girlfriend, Charli XCX.
