Reading and Leeds Festivals return this bank holiday weekend (August 26-28) – you can see the final weather forecast below.
The gates are now open to all ticket holders at both Little John’s Farm and Bramham Park, with those in possession of an early entry ticket having arrived yesterday (August 24). Headline sets from The 1975, Dave and Arctic Monkeys are in prospect, with Rage Against the Machine having dropped out owing to a leg injury sustained by frontman Zach de la Rocha on the US leg of their comeback tour.
Revellers heading to the southern leg of Reading and Leeds are looking at a dry weekend, with sunny spells and highest temperatures of around 23-24 degrees Celsius, per BBC Weather. Those on the way to the northern edition, meanwhile, can expect similar, with sunny intervals and light winds and highs of around 21 degrees. Friday, August 26: Sunny intervals and light winds. Temperatures to peak at 23°, with lows of 13°.
Saturday, August 27: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Temperatures to peak at 24°, with lows of 11°.
Sunday, August 28: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Temperatures to peak at 23°, with lows of 12°.
Leeds Festival
Thursday, August 25: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Temperatures to peak at 20°, with lows of 10°.
Friday, August 26: Sunny intervals and light winds. Temperatures to peak at 21°, with lows of 11°.
Saturday, August 27: Sunny intervals and light winds. Temperatures to peak at 21°, with lows of 12°.
Sunday August 28: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Temperatures to peak at 21°, with lows of 11°.
Meanwhile, ahead of Arctic Monkeys’ headline sets in Reading on Saturday (August 27) and Leeds (August 28), frontman Alex Turner has teased that the Sheffield outfit are “shuffling the deck” when it comes to the setlists.
