Richard Russell’s Everything Is Recorded detail new album ‘Temporary’

The next iteration of the XL Recordings boss’ project features Florence Welch, Sampha and more

XL Recordings boss Richard Russell has announced a new album with his Everything Is Recorded project.

Everything Is Recorded began in 2018 with a Mercury Prize-nominated album that saw Russell collaborate with a vast array of artists.

In the last year, he’s released four ‘equinox’ albums to mark each season, and will now release Temporary on February 28, 2025 via XL.

The new record features collaborators including Sampha, Bill Callahan, Noah Cyrus, Florence Welch, Maddy Prior, Berwyn, Alabaster Deplume, Jah Wobble, Yazz Ahmed, Laura Groves, Kamasi Washington, Rickey Washington, Roses Gabor, Jack Peňate, Samantha Morton, Mary in the Junkyard singer Clari Freeman-Taylor and Nourished By Time.
