Patti Smith to play ‘Horses’ in full on 2025 50th anniversary world tour

Including two nights at the London Palladium

Patti Smith has announced a fresh run of special gigs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her seminal debut studio album Horses later this year.

The celebrated punk icon will mark the 1975 record’s milestone by performing a run of shows with her band, which includes original members Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty.

Smith’s Horses shows will take place in London, Dublin, Madrid, Bergamo, Brussels, Oslo and Paris.

The London live dates are set for the London Palladium on October 12 and 13. “Please join us to help celebrate the final ride of our irreverent thoroughbred,” Smith said.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am GMT this Friday (February 14) and you’ll be able to buy yours here.

Smith’s seminal debut, Horses, is considered to be one of the most celebrated and influential albums of all time and was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2021. Her most recent London show came in July last year at Somerset House’s open-air gig series.
