"It's been emotional!"

An Oasis tribute band who were stranded in a Yorkshire pub for four days due to heavy snow have finally escaped.
61 people were left stranded at the Tan Hill Inn over the weekend after five feet of snow fell on Friday evening (November 26). The watering hole is 528m above sea level, the highest in the UK.
The band played a gig at the pub on Friday night (November 26) and continued to entertain punters over the weekend, before they were eventually freed last night (November 29).
Posting on Twitter after enough snow was cleared to secure their escape, they wrote: “Noasis have left the building! Thanks to everyone for your messages of support, thanks to Mike, Nicola and all of the staff, Kendal Mountain Rescue and thanks to everyone for the camaraderie within the venue – it’s been emotional!”
As well as sets from Noasis, punters trapped at the pub had to sleep in makeshift beds at the pub, according to The Guardian. Staff organised a karaoke night, screened films on a projector and served Sunday lunch to keep spirits up. Nicola Townsend, the pub’s general manager, said those inside had “formed quite a friendship”.
“Like a big family is the best way I can describe it,” she continued. “One lady actually said ‘I don’t want to leave.’”
A mountain rescuer managed to get to the Tan Hill Inn – which is 528m above sea level – to give medical attention to one guest with an ongoing condition.
Another staff member, Anya Harnett, told the BBC that people were “making the best of the situation”. “Everyone is welcome to stay as long as needed,” they said, “we’ve got enough supplies to keep people warm and fed.”
Pub staff have also said they are considering hosting a reunion for those who were trapped next year.
