Listen to Wet Leg’s unlikely cover of Ronan Keating’s ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’
It's even received the seal of approval from the Boyzone stalwart himself

Wet Leg have shared their cover of Ronan Keating‘s ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’, and it’s a brilliant take on the unlikeliest of tracks.
The hotly-tipped Isle of Wight newcomers shared their guitar-led cover of the Boyzone stalwart’s 2000 track for a new Apple Music Home Session, which has been released on the streaming platform today (February 4).
“It’s been such a whirlwind for us as a band,” said Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale of their choice of cover. “So I think we chose to cover ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’ just because we felt like we could relate to the sentiment of it. Kinda goes hand in hand with another motto that we live by, of ‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’.
“It’s been such a wild and unexpected ride for us since starting Wet Leg, and we’re all ’90s babies, so we’ve grown up with Ronan Keating on the radio — so it seemed appropriate.”
It has since received the seal of approval of Keating himself, who simply tweeted: “Love it.”
The cover’s arrival comes days after the duo shared the music video for their newest single ‘Oh No’.
The video, shot in the duo’s hometown of the Isle of Wight, sees singer Rhian Teasdale and guitarist Hester Chambers manically dancing by the sea in a bulky rope costume.
‘Oh No’ was released alongside ‘Too Late Now’ in November, with the new music video arriving ahead of their anticipated self-titled debut album which is due to be released April 8 via Domino.
Wet Leg are also set to play a string of in-store shows in April before they kick off their UK tour later in the month.
