Liam Gallagher performed new song ‘C’mon You Know’ for the first time during a show in London over the weekend – check out the footage below.
The former Oasis frontman was playing a special gig at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday night (March 26) in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Late in the 17-song set, Gallagher surprised the crowd by giving the title track of his upcoming third album its live debut.
“This one’s called ‘C’mon You Know’,” LG told the audience to introduce the cut, which is believed to be the next single from his new record of the same name. It’ll follow on from last month’s ‘Everything’s Electric’.

To close the main set, Gallagher dedicated a live airing of Oasis classic ‘Live Forever’ to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died on Friday (March 25) aged 50.
“I dedicate this last song to the one and only Taylor fucking Hawkins,” the singer said as an image of the late musician was displayed on the screen behind him. “This is for you, brother,” Gallagher added. See a clip of that moment above.
Elsewhere, the likes of Elton John and Coldplay dedicated tracks to Hawkins at their respective live shows over the weekend.
“We feel like we should send love to the Foo Fighters, because we all knew Taylor, their drummer, who was a beautiful beautiful man, and so we’re gonna play this song for the Foo Fighters,” said Coldplay frontman Chris Martin before playing a stripped-back version of ‘Everglow’.
Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher told fans last week that he would be filming a music video “up North” for a “new single”, adding that the shoot was going to take place “on a roof”. He was subsequently spotted on a hotel rooftop in Manchester with his band.
Rumours have emerged to suggest that the song in question is the ‘C’mon You Know’ title track, the name of which is said to have been briefly listed on Apple Music. While LG is yet to confirm this, he’s described his next release as “the sound of the summer”.
‘C’mon You Know’ arrives on May 27, when Gallagher will also drop his new ‘Down By The River Thames’ live album.
Liam Gallagher is scheduled to embark on a UK headline tour this June, which will include an anticipated two-night return to Knebworth, as well as a huge hometown show at the Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City FC.
