Coldplay joined forces with Shaznay Lewis to cover two All Saints songs during the band’s latest show at Wembley Stadium last night. You can watch the performance below.

The band‘s duet with Lewis marks the latest star-studded surprise to occur during their Wembley residency, having welcomed the likes of Natalie Imbruglia and Craig David to the stage earlier this week.

Performing in London last night (August 17), Coldplay introduced Lewis towards the end of their set at the 90,000 capacity venue – with the two acts covering All Saints’ ‘Pure Shores’ and ‘Never Ever’.

Frontman Chris Martin is seen taking to the piano for the stripped-back rendition of ‘Never Ever’, while guitarist Jonny Buckland and Coldplay drummer Will Champion provided instrumental backing.

Meanwhile, Imbruglia’s impromptu appearance earlier this week saw the two acts performing her seminal hit ‘Torn’, before duetting on ‘Summer Nights’ in tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John.

On the first night of the tour (12 August) they delivered joint renditions of Craig David’s songs ‘Live in the Moment’ (2018) and ‘Fill Me In’ (2000). At the second gig (13 August) they swapped the latter tune for another classic, ‘7 Days’ (2000).

Coldplay will finish their Wembley Stadium residency with two shows on Saturday (August 20) and Sunday (August 21).
