The Rolling Stones reportedly scrap plans for UK and Europe 2025 tour
Logistical issues are said to be a major part of their decision to shelve the shows, which are said to have included four dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The Rolling Stones have reportedly scrapped plans to tour across the UK and Europe in 2025.
According to a report in The Times, the rock icons are said to have shelved the idea of hitting the road later this year. It comes after initial reports earlier this month suggested the group would play multiple dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, alongside other shows across Europe.
The group – Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – were reportedly presented with a number of offers for shows this summer, but they were dismissed due to logistical issues surrounding venues, travel and pre-existing plans.
The band never confirmed the dates, but shows in Paris, Barcelona and Rome were also said to be in the offing.
Their latest album came in 2023’s Hackney Diamonds and they celebrated the album last year with 20 shows across North America which are said to have grossed $235 million (£185.1m) – placing it at Number Six on the highest-grossing world tours of last year.
But fans need not abandon hope just yet, with the report from The Times stating that the group still plans to tour the globe in 2026.
Yesterday saw Stones frontman Mick Jagger pay tribute to his former partner Marianne Faithfull, following the news of her death at the age of 78.
Celebrated singer Faithfull and Jagger were in a relationship between 1966 and 1970 and she was often considered to be a “muse” for the group.
Jagger posted an image of the two of them together on Instagram, writing: “I am so saddened to hear of the death of Marianne Faithfull.”
“She was so much part of my life for so long,” he added. “She was a wonderful friend, a beautiful singer and a great actress. She will always be remembered.”
Guitarist Keith Richards added on Twitter/X: ““My heartfelt condolences to Marianne’s family! I’m so sad and will miss her!! Love, Keith.”
