As the second Rolling Stone UK Awards draws nearer, we’re delighted to announce the nominees for the Album Award supported by Volvo.
This category recognises eight acts that have defined 2024 with brilliant records that show that British music is in ruder health than ever. There’s post-punk titans with their best record yet, an album that spawned a year-defining term and a Mercury Prize-winning effort that fought the corner of UK bands. All our nominees have made their mark on this year

The Rolling Stone UK Awards 2024 take place at the Roundhouse, London on November 28. Winners, presenters and VIP guests will also be whisked to and from the historic North London venue in style in luxury Volvo cars, while a multi-platform editorial campaign will be utilising Rolling Stone UK ’s presence in print and digital forms, online and across social platforms to create a moment of a scale rarely seen in UK music media.
