Spotify Wrapped reveals UK’s biggest artists as Taylor Swift and Noah Kahan lead charge

It's Taylor's second year taking the top spot.

Spotify Wrapped has revealed the world’s biggest artists for 2024 and it’s the likes of Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan and Sabrina Carpenter who have led the charge for the UK.

Swift is Spotify’s 2024 Global Top Artist for the second year in a row after scoring more than 26.6 billion streams globally, as well as being top in the UK as both artist and album for The Tortured Poets Department.

US star Noah Kahan also cemented his meteoric rise by securing the UK’s most streamed song with ‘Stick Season’, closely followed by Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’ in second place. In at number three is Benson Boone with ‘Beautiful Things’, while Hozier took the fourth spot with ‘Too Sweet’.

But, as ever, it’s Swift – who brought the Eras Tour to Europe – who reigns supreme. To mark her second year at the top, Spotify is adding a Wrapped badge to Taylor Swift’s profile – marking the inaugural year of this annual distinction. In addition, fans listening to her songs will also encounter some unique surprises. A custom mini-animation tailored to the eras of her discography will be displayed on the Spotify Play Button, providing a complementary visual experience. Listeners will find Sparkles for Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Seagulls for 1989 (Taylor’s Version), and more.
