slowthai confirms he’s finished his third album
New music from the rapper is expected imminently

Slowthai has confirmed he’s finished work on his anticipated third album.
The rapper, real name Tyron Frampton, confirmed the news in a social media post that showed him pulling a face next to a mirror and a pile of freshly shorn hair constructed into a comic profile.
“album 3 done. ugly,” he captioned the post.
It comes after the rapper hit the top spot in 2021 with ‘Tyron’, his acclaimed second studio album. While new music is expected to arrive imminently, Frampton has been present on a number of guest spots including Mount Kimbie’s ‘In Your Eyes’, which saw him featuring alongside Danny Brown.
Earlier this year, he also joined forces with Denzel Curry on the rapper’s single ‘Zatoichi’.
Accepting his Number One award in 2021, Slowthai explained how the record was crafted during some of his darkest moments – including the fallout of his now-infamous interaction with Katherine Ryan at the NME Awards 2020.
“When I made this album it was one of the darkest points of my life,” he said.
“I was heavily depressed, I had thoughts of suicide. To be honest this album and everyone that took part, and all you guys helped me out, boosted me up and lifted me.
“So I want to dedicate this award or this position or whatever you wanna call it, to anyone who’s in a dark place, anyone who’s been there along the journey.”
