Rising star Seb Lowe has shared new single ‘I Fell In Love With A Talking Head’.
The 19-year-old Oldham born star has a clever knack for combining festival-primed indie pop with messages that tackle the state of the world, something that is certainly the case on this latest track.
It sees him focusing his razor-sharp sights on egotistical, opinionated TV anchors – before the track’s fictional story takes a darkly sinister turn.
Similarly, the B-side ‘Kill Him He’s A Socialist’ dares to take a look at dismissive views of left-wing standpoints in the UK and what can be done to ensure they still get a voice at the table.
It’s a similar story on the soaring ‘Ode To Britannia’, which arrived earlier this month. No doubt he’ll be playing these tracks when he heads out on tour in September, taking in sold out shows at venues such as London’s legendary Dingwalls.
