The Geordie singer is believed to be hard at work on his anticipated third album and most recently joined forces with Vermont singer Noah Kahan on a spirited version of ‘Homesick’. Before that, he released the solo single ‘Iris’ back in January, which featured on the soundtrack to indie film Jackdaw.
Now, new footage has seen Fender teaming up with Granduciel – sparking speculation that a collaboration between the two could be on the way.
In a snippet shared to Fender’s Instagram page, he is seen sitting alongside Granduciel, guitarist Dean Thompson and a team of studio staff. Snippets of the track are also heard, which hint at a typically upbeat offering rooted in the heartland rock style that both artists are known for.
It’s available to watch on Fender’s Instagram story but, as is with the case with Instagram stories, it will expire after 24 hours.
Fender is also set to headline Boardmasters Festival this summer, but a release date for a third album from the star is yet to be confirmed.
