Sam Fender has announced details of three huge headline stadium shows in the UK for next summer.

As the singer gears up to release his latest album People Watching in February next year, he’s now confirmed his biggest shows to date.

He’ll play West Ham’s 75,000-capacity London Stadium on June 6, before heading back to the Tyne for two shows at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park on June 12 and 14. He previously achieved the same feat there in 2023.

Fender will be joined by CMAT on all dates, as well as The War on Drugs on June 6 and 14.

Tickets go on general sale next Friday (November 29) at 9:30am, and you can buy them here. A pre-sale, meanwhile, begins on Tuesday November 26 at 9:30am for fans who buy the album from Fender’s official store before 10am on Monday (November 25).

Last week saw Fender share the record’s title track. The third record from the North Shields singer follows on from 2021’s acclaimed Seventeen Going Under, which saw him grace the first ever cover of Rolling Stone UK in the run-up to its release.

Fender produced the record alongside bandmates Dean Thompson and Joe Atkinson over two years, working firstly in London in 2023 with producer Markus Dravs, and then earlier this year in Los Angeles with The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel, after they were seen in the studio together.

According to an official release, the record marks Fender’s “next step forward – colourful stories and observations of everyday characters living their everyday, but often extraordinary, lives.”
