Watch a video celebrating one year of Rolling Stone UK
With print and digital covers from Sam Fender to Lashana Lynch, Harry Styles to KSI
In its first year of publishing, Rolling Stone UK has seen 14 world class artists grace seven print and five digital covers, spotlighting the likes of Sam Fender, Lashana Lynch, Charli XCX, Florence + the Machine, Rina Sawayama, Matty Healy of the The 1975, Matt Smith, and KSI. Oh, and a lad by the name of Harry Styles. (Whose cover sold out within 24 hours, and went to reprint twice, with each of those new printings selling out just as fast.)
Beyond these cover exclusives, we’ve also featured a colossal list of world-first interviews with a pantheon of some of the UK’s finest names in music, film and TV — from Wolf Alice to Yard Act via Shygirl and Wet Leg.
While our editorial commitment has been solid, as with any business (and maybe more so in the publishing industry) you’re only as strong as your next cover. As such, to paraphrase Mr Fender, we’re only getting started… and we have exhilarating plans for the future. But the truth is, magazines such as this — and those by other indie publishers, be they online or in print — can only exist with your continued support.
The challenges we all face in these uncertain times are very real. So, first and foremost, we thank you for reading and supporting Rolling Stone UK over the past year — be that in print, digital or across our socials.
It’s been a wild ride. Enjoy the rest of this manically unpredictable year, and we’ll see you in 2023.
