My Bloody Valentine have announced their first UK tour in a decade.

The Shoegaze icons will play three dates in Manchester, London and Glasgow, with the news coming after the instantaneous sell out of their Dublin 3Arena concert.

The tour kicks off in Manchester on November 24, followed by a show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on Tuesday 25th November, before concluding in Glasgow.

Tickets go on general sale Friday, April 4 at 10am, while fans can access a pre-sale by signing up here by Monday, March 31 at 9am. The pre-sale starts at 10am on the same day.

The dates will be the first from Kevin Shields and co since their last shows in North America in 2018.

Their latest album came in 2013’s mbv, but the group previously revealed in 2021 that they were working on two new records – with Shields claiming that the first would be “warm and melodic”.

He said: “I don’t want to be 70-something wanting to make the next record after mbv. I think it’d be cooler to make one now.”

The group also received a hat-tip from The 1975‘s Matty Healy earlier this week when he included their 2013 record on a list of his favourite albums of all time.
