A man has been arrested and charged with harassment and stalking near the home of Taylor Swift home in New York.
David Crowe was arrested yesterday (January 22) after complaints about an “emotionally disturbed male acting erratically” in the area near her Lower Manhattan home.
“Once officers observed the male harassing multiple complainants, they took him to custody without further incidents, [and] no injuries were reported,” the New York Police Department (NYPD) said.
33-year-old Crowe, who is from Seattle, Washington, was charged with two counts of harassment and two counts of stalking.
The latest incident comes after a man was arrested outside Swift’s home over the weekend for allegedly attempting to enter her home. Swift was not at home, instead supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce as the NFL tight-end faced off against the Buffalo Bills in New York state.
The NYPD have not confirmed if the suspect of the first arrest was also linked to the second incident.
Swift has been previously targeted at her New York home, with one man arrested in 2022 after he drunk-drove a car into the singer’s apartment building and allegedly tried to gain entry.
Another man, Roger Alvarado, broke into Swift’s home and was found by police sleeping in her bed while she was away. He was sentenced to six months in jail.
