Kylie Minogue announces new album ‘Tension II’ and global tour for 2025

Kylie Minogue has announced details of a new album, as well as a huge global tour for 2025.

The pop icon will release Tension II – a collection of nine new tracks – on October 18 ahead of her global tour next year.

The record’s lead single ‘Lights, Camera, Action’ will arrive next Friday (September 27), while Minogue says the rest of the record will include collabs with Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo, Sia and The Blessed Madonna.

That track with Rexha and Tove Lo comes in the form of ‘My Oh My’ which arrived this summer, alongside her Blessed Madonna collab ‘Edge of Saturday Night’.

As for next year, the Tension Tour will open in Kylie’s native Australia, before heading into Asia and reach the UK in May, with more countries and dates to be announced over the coming weeks including Europe and North and South America.

Kylie said: “I am beyond excited to announce the Tension Tour 2025. I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more! It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”
