It will be limited to 10,000 copies

To mark the 40th anniversary of ‘Still’, Joy Division are releasing a new vinyl edition of the iconic album.
The compilation album will come with a ruby red sleeve, and it’s pressed on crystal clear vinyl.
‘Still’ was first released back in 1981 after the tragic death of their singer, Ian Curtis.
It followed their two previous albums, ‘Unknown Pleasures’ and ‘Closer’. ‘Still’ featured music that had never been released before, and included two non-album tracks called ‘Dead Souls’ and ‘Glass’.
The record also featured a live recording of Joy Division’s last ever performance, which took place at Birmingham University.
As well as being the final show, it also featured the only live performance of ‘Ceremony’.
They later released ‘Ceremony’ as a single for New Order.
This special edition will only be available on the webstore, you can find it here. It’s set to be a limited edition release of 10,000, and will be out on February 11, 2022.
New Order will also be celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut album ‘Movement’ on November 13th. To celebrate they are releasing their ‘Taras Shevchenko’ film to Youtube.
The iconic recording was filmed live at the Ukrainian National Home, New York City on November 18, 1981. It was just 5 days after the release of ‘Movement’.
The celebrations come as Peter Hook announced that he will be doing some live shows to play ‘Unknown Pleasures’ and ‘Closer’ in full.
Peter Hook And The Light are heading out on the ‘Joy Division: A Celebration Tour’ next April.
He has also rescheduled ‘The Sound Of Joy Division Orchestrated’ shows with Manchester Camerata in October next year.
