The pop giant, who has collaborated with Gucci on several occasions in the past, has joined forces with Creative Director Alessandro Michele on the new collection, which spans formal evening wear and more everyday items such as duffel coats and jumpers.

Describing the campaign, Gucci said: “Harry Styles channels his expressive emotionality to play with the meaning of masculinity in the campaign of the Gucci HA HA HA collection, which the British singer-songwriter and actor envisioned together with Creative Director Alessandro Michele.

“Clothes are put on, paired with surprising accessories, then cast aside and piled up in a game of dress-up that neither establishes nor recounts classic preconceptions, but rather recasts the men’s wardrobe as a tool for the avant-garde.”

Responding to the collection, one Styles fan wrote on social media: “Gucci Ha Ha ha Harry Styles is truly a blessing.”

Another said: “Harry Styles belongs to Gucci and Gucci belongs to Harry Styles.”

Styles’ collection comes as he continues to tour across the US in support of his acclaimed third solo album Harry’s House.

The run of shows has included a historic 15-show stint at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where the venue raised a banner in his honour to mark the achievement.

In a four star review of Harry’s House, Rolling Stone UK hailed the record for offering a look at “Styles’ relentless high life with a drilled down look at the human and personal toll that exists behind it.”

“All considered, it’s a strong and consistently impressive effort as Harry finally embraces the solo stardom that was written in the stars when he was with One Direction,” our verdict stated.

“While not entirely ripping up the rule book, there’s enough of a progression and growth to please his fans and, in the process, welcome a fair few more to Harry’s House as a new era beckons.”
