Harry Styles to read CBeebies’ Bedtime Story next week
The pop star will make his debut on the channel just days after the relase of his third album

Harry Styles will make his CBeebies Bedtime Story debut later this month.
The former One Direction star will appear on the children’s channel to read ‘In Every House, On Every Street, a story written by Jess Hitchman and illustrated by Lili la Baleine. It is described by the BBC as “a heartwarming celebration of homes and the different families that live in them”.
Introducing the story, Styles himself said: “Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter.” He is unlikely to have chosen this specific story by accident, given that his latest solo album, to be released this coming Friday (May 20) is entitled Harry’s House.
His reading of In Every House, On Every Street will air at 6:50pm on CBeebies next Monday (March 23), and will be available to revisit via the BBC iPlayer shortly afterwards. It will not be his only collaboration of the week with the BBC; he also headlines the corporation’s Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival, when he takes to the stage at War Memorial Park in Coventry for a headline set next Sunday (May 22).
Styles joins the likes of Ed Sheeran, YUNGBLUD and Coventry native Pa Salieu on that bill. He’ll then go onto play his own stadium dates later in the summer, with support from indie star turned TikTok sensation Mitski. You can see those dates below. By reading the CBeebies Bedtime Story, meanwhile, he joins an eccentric cast of musicians to have taken on the job, which ranges from Guy Garvey and Josh Homme to Sir Elton John and Dolly Parton.
Styles also recently headlined Coachella for the first time. During his set he was joined by Shania Twain for renditions of ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’ and ‘You’re Still the One’. He’ll return to the US in early autumn for a continuation of his North American tour that will take in no fewer than ten nights at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. His UK dates are as follows:
Harry Styles, June 2022:
11 – Glasgow, Ibrox
15 – Manchester, Emirates Old Trafford
18 – London, Wembley Stadium
