Glastonbury is making a big change to its ticket queue for next year
Worthy Farm hopefuls will face a slightly different process when tickets on sale later this month.

Glastonbury has announced details of a significant change in its ticketing system for 2025 ahead of the first public sale later this month.
General sale tickets for next year’s festival will go on sale from Sunday, November 17 at 9AM, while coach package tickets will be available from 6PM from Thursday, November 14.
But in a major break with tradition, it’s been confirmed that the way in which Worthy Farm hopefuls join the booking process is now changing.
Instead of refreshing the holding page repeatedly in a bid to reach the booking page, everyone who is already on the official tickets page when the sale begins will be assigned a random place in a queue to access the booking process.
Other than this change to the process, Glastonbury have confirmed that the rest of the process will be business as usual. When bookers reach the front of the queue, they will be asked to enter the registration number and registered postcode for the lead booker and up to 5 other people for whom they are attempting to book tickets. A 10 minute window will then follow to complete the page before the session expires.
As ever, the line-up will not be revealed before tickets go on sale but the likes of Eminem and Sam Fender have all been linked with appearances at next year’s event.
This year’s Glastonbury saw a pop masterclass from Dua Lipa, Coldplay’s record-breaking headline set and SZA valiantly battling through a small crowd to deliver an arena-sized production.
