Fontaines D.C. have announced their biggest show to date at London’s Finsbury Park next summer.

The Dublin band will play the one-off date on July 5 next year, with support coming from Amyl & The Sniffers, Kneecap and a selection of other acts to be confirmed.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST next Friday (August 9), while the band have also shared an announcement video that was fittingly filmed at Finsbury Park.

The massive date will follow a UK tour in November and December in support of their fourth album, Romance, which is set for release later this month.

Last month also saw the group headline Glastonbury’s Park Stage, delivering a set that Rolling Stone UK described as “a tantalising teaser of a new era”.

“Anyone up at the Park was lucky to even get a look at Fontaines, whose crowd stretches all the way back to that area’s Ribbon Tower,” our review said.

Elsewhere, Fontaines frontman Grian Chatten also recently made a cameo in JADE’s solo debut video for ‘Angel Of My Dreams’, after eagle-eyed fans noticed that she had made a similar turn in the Fontaines D.C. video for ‘Starburster’.
