As England prepare for the small matter of a European Championship final against Spain on Sunday, the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Jordan Pickford and Luke Shaw have all revealed the songs they listen to in order to get into the right mindset.

The three players revealed their songs as part of Apple Music’s ‘The Warm-Up’ series and it’s fair to say they’re a fairly eclectic bunch.

“Music helps me get in the right frame of mind,” Mainoo said to Apple Music. “I like to be relaxed before a game. I listen to music in the car and in the changing room—rap/melodic rap. ‘Gold Roses’, Rick Ross; ‘Catch the Sun’, Lil Baby; ‘Weekends in the Perry’s’, Benny the Butcher…I like the vibe they set. Chill songs.”

You can listen to Kobbie’s below.

Pickford’s playlist, meanwhile, represents the often unpredictable and random personalities of the men between the sticks. Yes, this means there’s everything from Arctic Monkeys to Elvis Presley, Elton John to Oasis and Queen to Ed Sheeran.

“I had to put this in; it’s a great song but also from one of my favourite shows, Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere,” he said of Elton’s ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues’. The scene gets me every time when Paddy comes in with the harmonica.”

For Luke Shaw’s playlist, it’s a varied mix of hip-hop, Afro-house, reggaeton and much more.

Oh, and while we’re at it… COME ON ENGLAND!
