The Manchester group will make a grand return next year.

Doves have announced their latest album Constellations For The Lonely after three years away.
The acclaimed Manchester group reunited for the first time in eight years back in 2018 and released their first album since 2009’s Kingdom of Rust with 2020’s The Universal Want.
But a comeback tour, post-Covid, was ultimately axed due to frontman Jimi Goodwin’s ongoing experiences of mental health issues.
Now, the group have confirmed they will return with Constellations For The Lonely, which is due to be released in February 2025.
The album was written, recorded and produced by Doves between locations in Greater Manchester, North Wales and Cheshire with additional production from long-term collaborator, Dan Austin.
The band’s drummer, vocalist and co-songwriter, Andy Williams, said: “Looking at everyone’s lives over recent years, and considering the news at the moment, ‘Renegade’ feels a lot more loaded in retrospect. We wanted to go for a dystopian feel, thinking about Manchester itself over the next century or so. A totally imaginary thing… ‘Blade Runner’ set in our home city.”
It’s previewed by the lead single Renegade, while the record features 10 songs and will be available on standard and special edition vinyl, CD, cassette and digital formats.
