Coldplay have become the latest artists to team up with Spotify to have their logo immortalised on the FC Barcelona shirt.

The design will feature a Coldplay logo inspired by their latest album Moon Music and will be worn when the team runs out for the upcoming El Clásico match against Real Madrid on October 26. FC Barcelona Femení will also wear the strip against Eibar on November 2.

Only 1899 jerseys will be made available in honour of the club’s founding year, while there will also be 22 special glow-in-the-dark shirts, with eleven signed by the starting men’s team and the other half by the starting women’s.

A major charity move will also see all net proceeds from the shirts go towards the UNHCR, who began their partnership with the team in 2022.

Coldplay said: “We’re honoured that Spotify has chosen to feature our Moon Music design on the shirt of FC Barcelona. We’ve had a special relationship with the city and the club for many years. We’re also proud to support the UNHCR in their life-saving work to protect refugees and displaced people around the world. Heartfelt thanks to Spotify and FC Barcelona for making this happen.”

FC Barcelona have teamed up with a wide array of acts in recent years, including the likes of The Rolling Stones, Rosalia and Drake.
