Wunderhorse have capped off a massive 2024 by supporting Sam Fender on his arena tour, and we’ve got some exclusive photos of their first night at London’s O2 Arena to share.
The group’s second album Midas arrived in August and got the full five stars from Rolling Stone UK, with our review hailing it as “the arrival of a band that could become generational“.
A sell-out Brixton Academy show then followed, before the group announced they’ll be heading to Alexandra Palace next spring for their own headline show in that cavernous room.
But, if Tuesday is anything to go by, they’ll tackle it with consummate ease. The band had no trouble in tackling a room of 20,000 people with a set that flitted between their 2022 debut Cub and this summer’s Midas.
If the momentum keeps going their way, don’t bet against them headlining this very room in the near future.
