BRIT Awards 2025: JADE, The Last Dinner Party and Myles Smith among first performers

They will all take to the O2 Arena on March 1.

The first names set to perform at the BRIT Awards 2025 have been revealed, with a wide selection of acts who have put their stamp on music in the last year.

The BRIT Awards have today (January 31) announced the first five performers for the upcoming awards ceremony, which will take place at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday March 1 and broadcast live on ITV1.

The first acts to be announced are JADE (fresh from her appearance at the Rolling Stone UK Awards), Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, The Last Dinner Party and Myles Smith – who was recently announced as the winner of the BRIT Awards 2025 Rising Star.

Smith is also up for Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Pop Act, while JADE is also up for Song of the Year and Pop Act and The Last Dinner Party have nods for Mastercard Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Best New Artist and Alternative/Rock Act.

International categories recognise the likes of Fontaines D.C.Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, while Rolling Stone UK’s 2024 Future of Music cover starRachel Chinouriri, is up for Best New Artist and Artist of the Year.

Winners of five categories at this year’s awards – Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act and R&B act — will be decided by a public vote. Fans can vote once a day for their favourite artist between midday GMT on Friday, January 31 and 11.59pm on Friday, February 14 via The BRITs’ WhatsApp channel.

The BRIT Awards will once again be hosted by Jack Whitehall for 2025, returning for his fifth time in the role.

This year’s BRIT Awards will take place at The O2 in London on March 1, 2025, and be broadcast live on ITV. The BRITs 2025: The Warm-Up – a pre-show coming to ITV2 and ITVX on February 27 – will be hosted by Harriet Rose and Munya Chawawa.

The 2025 BRIT Awards trophy has been designed by artist Gabriel Moses. Moses, who has previously worked with the likes of Little Simz and Stormzy, follows the likes of Vivienne Westwood and Anish Kapoor in designing the winners’ trophy for the awards show.
