Billie Eilish’s next album is ’85 per cent done’, according to brother Finneas
Could we see a third album in 2024?

Billie Eilish‘s third studio album is “85 per cent done”, her brother and collaborator Finneas has said.
Finneas, who produced and co-wrote Eilish’s first two global-smash records, 2019’s ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and 2021’s Happier Than Ever, revealed the promising update in a new interview with Mr Porter.
He said the record was “85 per cent done”, but claimed that the process had been “challenging” for her third album.
The piece referenced Eilish’s recent claim that she has been experiencing writers block, but the third album is said to be “at last coming together”.
Finneas said: “I don’t think Billie was particularly sure about how she actually felt about the things we were trying to write about. Making a thing that you feel really connected to – it can really evade you.”
Finneas went on to explain he that too got a “little rusty” as his touring schedule with Eilish permitted for little writing time.
“And that was scary,” Finneas said. “It was discouraging to realise that if I take time off, my songwriting muscle atrophies. I had to get back in shape.”
An update from Eilish herself last emerged when she said the album was “almost done” in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “At some point you will know more,” she said, “but I’m not going to say anything.”
Eilish’s last song came in ‘What Was I Made For’, her “sob”-worthy contribution to the all-star Barbie soundtrack.
