Beyoncé has confirmed she’ll make her anticipated return next month with a new project titled ‘RENAISSANCE’.
It comes after growing speculation in recent weeks that the follow-up to her latest solo album, 2016’s celebrated ‘Lemonade’, was set to arrive in the coming months. Her latest overall record came in ‘Everything Is Love’, her joint 2018 record with husband Jay-Z.
Having heightened speculation by deleting all social media profile photos last week, the singer has now confirmed that ‘RENAISSANCE’ will arrive on Friday, July 29.
She confirmed the news in the update bio of her Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages. “act i, RENAISSANCE, 7.29,” it stated – seemingly hinting that second part will follow at a later date.
Fans can pre-save/pre-add the release here.
Confirming work on new music, she said last summer: “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half.
“Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies.”
She continued: “Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”
