Rappers Aitch and Giggs have joined forces to collaborate on new single ‘Just Coz’.
The Manchester rapper had earlier teased the collaboration on his social media by tweeting: “Baby has just gone silver and I’m announcing my album soon, so before that to celebrate Aitch x ? – Just Coz” 7pm Thursday”
Aitch said of the collaboration: “We were in the studio and we decided to turn up the vibes and do something a bit rowdier. It was natural, I got in the booth and I said what I had to say. Giggs got in the booth and said what he had to say. We had a good laugh, it was an honour to work with the big man. Giggs taught me a lot of stuff; he’s my guy for life.”
The duo have also released a video directed by Kelvin Jones.
In the clip, Aitch takes Giggs on a tour of Manchester while the two spit confident lyrics about getting girls.
Though Giggs has not released an album since 2019’s ‘Big Bad’ which featured collaborations with numerous American artists including Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss and French Montana, he has continued to release a steady stream of singles.
He most recently collaborated with Jai on ‘So Stubborn’ for the ‘Top Boy’ soundtrack.
Giggs has also been teasing fans on social media over an upcoming album with snippets from unreleased songs.
He’s also been sharing multiple images of him in the studio and one picture was captioned “Comin for da summer”.
Earlier this week, Aitch confirmed that he would be performing at Capital’s Summertime Ball alongside artists such as Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran and Mabel.
The rapper is also set to play Dublin’s Longitude Festival which will be headlined by Dave, Tyler the Creator and A$AP Rocky.
Other artists set to perform include Doja Cat, Playboi Carti and Digga D.
