Nadine Shah announces new album ‘Filthy Underneath’
The album is being previewed by first single, 'Topless Mother'.
Nadine Shah has announced details of a new album called Filthy Underneath and shared its first single – listen to ‘Topless Mother’ below.
The new album is the singer’s first since 2020’s Kitchen Sink and will be released on February 23, 2024 via EMI North.
Discussing the new song, Shah said: “It’s a song about a counsellor I worked with that I couldn’t get along with. I’m pretty certain the feeling was mutual. And I’m also pretty certain she’d find this funny.
“Some people just don’t click and some arseholes like me write songs about it.”

Tonight (October 19), Shah will play an intimate comeback show at Brighton venue Chalk, before supporting Young Fathers on their UK tour, including an Eventim Apollo gig in London on Saturday night (October 21).
Shah has also today announced a special London show of her own at The Lower Third on November 2, where she will preview new material.
