My Chemical Romance announce extra European shows for 2022

My Chemical Romance have announced new European headline shows for 2022 – see the schedule below.
The Gerard Way-fronted band, who made their live comeback in 2019, are set to embark on their COVID-delayed reunion tour next year. An extra run of dates was added to the UK and Ireland leg earlier this week.
Today (December 9) My Chemical Romance confirmed that they’ll play additional concerts in Europe after wrapping up their UK/Ireland stint in Glasgow on May 30.
Kicking off in Paris (June 1), the group will also make stop-offs in Rotterdam (2), Munich (6), Budapest (7), Warsaw (9), Berlin (12) and Stockholm (14).

MCR will then play a string of previously announced European festival gigs including Park Live Festival in Moscow and U Park Live in Kiev.
My Chemical Romance’s UK and Ireland tour includes three shows at Milton Keynes’ Stadium MK (May 19, 21, 22) as well as performances in Dublin, Warrington, Cardiff and Glasgow.
Meanwhile, MCR’s Australian and New Zealand concerts have also been postponed until 2023.

My Chemical Romance played a comeback show – their first live outing in seven years – at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium in December 2019. Shortly afterwards they were forced to scrap an additional run of reunion gigs due to the pandemic.
Guitarist Frank Iero also recently broke his wrist falling from a ladder, and feared he would not play guitar again. He has been documenting his experience on social media after having pins and metal plates inserted into his wrist.
