Liam Gallagher unveils new single co-written with Dave Grohl – listen
'Everything's Electric' is the first taste of May's 'C'mon You Know'

Liam Gallagher has shared the lead single from his third solo album. You can listen to ‘Everything’s Electric’ below.
Produced by long-time collaborator Greg Kurstin, ‘Everything’s Electric’ features Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl as a co-writer, and is a raw, riff-driven Zeppelin-esque stomper. You can hear it below.
Gallagher announced ‘C’mon You Know’ last October – it’s out on May 27. He’ll mark the release with a UK stadium tour in June, which will include an emotional two-night return to Knebworth, as well as a huge hometown show at the home of his beloved Manchester City.
A press release says that Gallagher took his cues from Beastie Boys’ ‘Sabotage’ and The Rolling Stones’ ‘Gimme Shelter’ in the writing of ‘Everything’s Electric’. It’s his first new release since festive single ‘All You’re Dreaming Of’ in December of 2020.
The collaboration with Grohl marks the culmination of a years-long love-in between Gallagher and the Foos, which began in 2017 when Gallagher joined the U.S. rockers for a star-studded cover of The Beatles’ ‘Come Together’ at CalJam Festival. By the following year, Gallagher had told NME that the Foos “keep texting me, man” as regards a potential collaboration.
Grohl and co went on to call for an Oasis reunion in 2019; Noel swiftly responded in typically scything style by demanding, instead, that the Foos split. Drummer Taylor Hawkins featured an image of Liam on his kick drum at that year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, and heaped praise on him as “one of the last great rock stars” in an interview with The Independent.
No track listing has yet been announced for ‘C’mon You Know’. Gallagher will be among the performers at Tuesday night’s (February 8) BRIT Awards, alongside the likes of Adele, Ed Sheeran, Dave and Little Simz; he’ll give UK fans a taste of what to expect when he takes ‘C’mon You Know’ on the road in June, with support from Kasabian, Michael Kiwanuka, Fat White Family and Goat Girl in prospect for the second Knebworth show.
