Korn have shared a new single called ‘Forgotten’ – you can listen to it below.
Following on from ‘Start The Healing’, the track will appear on the California band’s fourteenth studio album, ‘Requiem’, which arrives on February 4 via Loma Vista (pre-order here).
It comes after Korn teased ‘Forgotten’ via a series of online easter eggs, with different stems from the song hidden on their website, newsletter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Makersplace profiles.
“Now all that’s left is… the final piece,” the group wrote on Tuesday (January 11) in anticipation of the single’s arrival. In a follow-up tweet yesterday (January 12), they said: ‘To our freaks who discovered the chorus stems of ‘Forgotten’ over the past 6 days and put them together, we see you.
“You can still find them through our website and also in the @Splice app.”
‘Forgotten’ is accompanied by an official visualiser created by EFFIXX, who also worked on the video for ‘Start The Healing’. Tune in here:
The nine-track ‘Requiem’ will also feature the cuts ‘Let the Dark Do the Rest’, ‘Disconnect’ and ‘Worst Is On Its Way’ – you can see the full tracklist below.
