Kojey Radical announces live shows for 2022 in support of debut album
The rapper will also perform at in-store events
Kojey Radical has shared details of two new shows next year after the release of his debut album, ‘Reason to Smile’.
The rapper will perform at Manchester’s Albert Hall on April 6 followed by a gig on April 7 at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am GMT on December 10 – head here to purchase.
His debut album, ‘Reason To Smile’, will be released on March 4, 2022 via Asylum/Atlantic and was previewed last month with the single ‘Gangsta’.
In a statement, Radical said: “This is the first time I’ve done it to the scale and ambition of what I speak. Previously it’s been ‘I’m warming, I’m warming, I’m warming up’. But I’m warm now – put me in the game.”
The record features guest spots from Kelis, Tiana Major9, Wretch 32 and others.
Ahead of the tour, the rapper, whose real name is Kwadwo Adu Genfi Amponsah, will also play several in-store performances as well as host signings for fans. These begin on the album’s release day (March 4) and will run for the following week.
In addition to the Manchester Albert Hall and O2 Academy Brixton shows, Radical will also perform at London’s Lafayette on January 25 as part of the National Lottery’s Revive Live Tour. Tickets are on sale now from here.
