Kendrick Lamar has surprise released an entire new album, titled GNX. You can listen to it below.

The 12-track album arrives three years after his last record, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, and was previewed this afternoon (November 22) with a one-minute teaser online.

The whole album then arrived just now on streaming services, and comes ahead of Kendrick’s Super Bowl Half-Time Show set next February. It features a collaboration with SZA on the track ‘Luther’, which also features production from Jack Antonoff.

Listen to GNX in its entirety below.

Just a few months after the release of Mr. Morale, producer Sounwave revealed that Kendrick was already working on his next album, though it’s not clear whether music from those sessions has ended up on GNX.

Speaking to Complex, the producer said: “Like, we’re starting on the next one now. That’s never going to change, all the way from the Kendrick Lamar EP. The next day, we started on Section.80. It’s just the ideas never stopped.”

The producer added that, in order to keep the creativity going, he is following Lamar on his current US tour, and says that the pair are “like kids in a candy shop” when making music together.
