Jungle announce huge London headline show at The O2
The duo released fourth album 'Volcano' last year
Jungle have announced a huge London show at The O2, set to take place later this year.
The pop duo – Tom McFarland and J. Lloyd – released fourth album Volcano last year, when they also headlined a day of London’s All Points East festival.
They will return to the capital on September 12 for a massive headline show, playing The O2 for the first time.
Tickets for the gig will go on sale on Friday, February 2 at 10am. You can buy your tickets here then.
Fans can sign up to the band’s fan club to access pre-sale tickets.
In a Rolling Stone UK interview around the release of Volcano, Jungle discussed the pleasure of playing their hometown, and why it always comes with more pressure and expectation.
“Playing in London is so special. Being from London, it’s a marquee moment. It’s always nerve-wracking, but it’s always exciting, it makes you want to make it super special. It’s go hard or go home for us.”
Discussing their evolution as a band, they added: “For us now, it’s about delivering things that people know in a different way. We can’t just go out and play ‘Busy Earnin’ the way that we’ve played it for 10 years — it’s gotta be changed and I think that’s a really exciting challenge for us: how can we uplift some of those old songs and old emotions into the new sonic space that we’re heading towards?”
