Halsey has shared a snippet from the original version of their 2019 song ‘Nightmare’, which features a sample of t.A.T.u.’s ‘All The Things She Said’.
In a TikTok posted this weekend, the singer captioned a clip of the demo which features the chorus from ‘All The Things She Said’, with the text ‘did you know nightmare OG had a tatu sample?”. The caption reads: “should I leak this version?”

The singer has since shared another snippet of an unreleased song on TikTok with the caption “Since I’m in the spirit of leaking things!”
In the video Halsey mouths along to the lyrics with text that reads: “a song I wrote about hoping my little brother grows up in a better world than this one.”
“But I don’t want to be alive in a so-called interesting time,” they sing. “I’m praying that maybe you might get a try in a world that’s better than mine.”
Last month Halsey shared the full ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’ film online, which accompanied their album of the same name.
After a run of IMAX screenings, it was made available to rent on HBO Max in October and can now be found on Amazon, iTunes and more online streaming services.
A synopsis for the film reads: “Set to the music of Halsey’s fourth studio album, this one-of-a-kind film experience stars the two-time GRAMMY nominee as the young and pregnant Queen Lila. After a shocking event, Lila unlocks a paranormal power within and discovers her ability to create life (and end it).
“Offering a stunning visual treat for fans, this evocative, horror-tinged fairytale explores the labyrinth of sexuality and birth. ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’ was written by Halsey and directed by Colin Tilley. The album was produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The film was produced by Halsey, Jamee Ranta and Anthony Li.”
Halsey is set to headline Reading & Leeds festivals later this year, alongside Arctic Monkeys, Megan Thee Stallion, Bring Me The Horizon and more.
