Green Day, Sleep Token and KoRn to headline Download Festival 2025
The festival returns to Donington Park next June, with the likes of Weezer and more also set to play
Download Festival has revealed its line-up f0r 2025, with Green Day, Sleep Token and KoRn set to headline.
The festival will return to Donington Park on the weekend of June 13-15 next year, with the likes of Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, McFly and The Darkness all also set to play.
Speaking of the 2025 line-up, festival boss Andy Copping said: “Following on from last year’s sold out 21st edition, Download’s legacy not only includes the incredible artists who have performed at the hallowed grounds over the years, but also our unrivalled community, safe and warm atmosphere, and fantastic afterhours entertainment at District X, with something for truly everyone.”
Download Festival 2024 was headlined by Queens of the Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold.
Reviewing Queens’ debut headline set at the festival, Rolling Stone UK said: “On the first night of Download’s new era, Queens of the Stone Age might have felt like they had something to prove. In reality, Homme just wanted to have the biggest party possible and continue his band’s excellent renaissance. A one-two punch of the timeless ‘No One Knows’ and brutal ‘Song for the Dead’ closed things out before another immortal line from the frontman: “You cunts are alright”. The sentiment was reflected right back to the band.”
