Frank Ocean is seemingly back in the studio
The elusive singer hasn't released new music since 2020.
Frank Ocean has shared a new photo on Instagram that appears to show the elusive singer back in the studio.
Ocean’s last studio release was in 2020, which he debuted two singles, ‘Dear April’ and ‘Cayendo’. He has since teased new music a few times on his Blonded Radio Apple Music 1 radio show.
After making his live return at Coachella 2023, when he played an abridged set and then cancelled his performance on the festival’s second weekend, he then ended last year by sharing a mysterious snippet of what appeared to be a new song.
Now, Ocean has taken to his @blonded Instagram account to share a photo of himself in the studio playing the bass.
It’s not been confirmed if the photo is new, but it appears that Ocean is back in the studio working on new music.
If a new album were to arrive, it would be his first since 2016’s Blonde.
