Droppin’ Like It’s Hot: Snoop Dogg X Skechers Collection

Snoop Dogg is bringing his distinctive style to Skechers, as part of a three-part capsule collaboration. The West Coast rap icon has taken to ‘Snoopifying’ his streetwear aesthetic to Skechers. He’s curating shapes, materials, colourways and prints in the footwear brands’ showroom, ensuring that the collection is in step with his iconic style. In the words of Snoop himself, “If the ride [or the shoe] is more fly, then you must buy.”

The collection, better known as the OG capsule, includes something for every style:

Skechers Stamina – Snoop 91

The Skechers Stamina, has a particular sentimental tie to Snoop, as the sneaker was released in 2004- the same year as his platinum ‘Rhythm and Gansta: The Masterpiece’ record. Named the Skechers Stamina- Snoop 91, the sneaker (pictured) syncs the classic 2004 style with a suede and mesh blended upper with a multi-material and colour trim. Also, the colourway was handpicked by Snoop to reflect the special era of his life on his favourite pair of Skechers kicks. That kind of Skechers and Snoop synergy was written in the stars.

Skechers Hands Free Slip-Ins® – Snoop One OG

Snoop Dogg collaborated with Skechers design team on the Snoop One OG, a versatile daily-wear sneaker. Integrating his favourite feature, Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins®, this leather bungee shoe boasts the innovative Skechers Exclusive Heel Pillow™ for foot security.
