Clara Amfo, Maya Jama and Roman Kemp to present 2024 BRIT Awards
Dua Lipa and RAYE will perform at next month's ceremony in London.
The 2024 BRIT Awards will be presented by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama and Roman Kemp.
This year’s ceremony will take place on March 2 at The O2 in London. Dua Lipa was recently confirmed as the first performer on the night, with RAYE also confirmed to play this week.
Upon the reveal of this year’s nominations, RAYE made history as the most nominated artist in a single year in the awards’ history.
The singer, who released her acclaimed album My 21st Century Blues last year, scored nods for Best British Album, Song Of The Year (twice), British artist of the year, Best Pop Act, Best R&B act and Best New Artist.
Responding to the nominations, RAYE said: “I’m a BRIT kid, innit? I went to the BRIT School and it was the goal, the ultimate goal, to find my way somehow to the BRIT Awards.”
She added: “As far as the industry was concerned, I was down and out. Never in my wildest dreams would I think trying again would mean seven BRIT nominations. This is a whole different thing. Best Album? Are you sick?”
Elsewhere in the nominations list, there’s four nominations for J Hus including Album of the Year (Beautiful and Brutal Yard), British Artist of The Year, Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, and Song of the Year (‘Who Told You’ featuring Drake). Little Simz, meanwhile, has three nominations.
It’s a packed field in Song Of The Year too, with 15 nominations including the likes of Central Cee with ‘Let Go’ and Dua Lipa with ‘Dance The Night’.
