Charli XCX, Ezra Collective and The Last Dinner Party lead 2025 BRIT Awards nominations
The list also includes The Cure’s first BRITs nods in two decades, while The Beatles gain their first nomination since the first ever awards in 1977
The nominations for the 2025 BRIT Awards are here, with Charli XCX leading the way.
The singer – who defined last year with Brat – is nominated in five categories at this year’s ceremony, held at The O2 in London on Saturday, March 1.
Following up with four nominations each are Ezra Collective, The Last Dinner Party and Dua Lipa. Elsewhere, The Cure have received three nominations – their first BRITs nods in two decades – while The Beatles are nominated for Song of the Year with ‘Now and Then’, their first BRITs nomination since the first ever awards in 1977.
International categories recognise the likes of Fontaines D.C., Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, while Rolling Stone UK’s 2024 Future of Music cover star, Rachel Chinouriri, is up for Best New Artist and Artist of the Year.
Winners of five categories at this year’s awards – Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act and R&B act — will be decided by a public vote. Fans can vote once a day for their favourite artist between midday GMT on Friday, January 31 and 11.59pm on Friday, February 14 via The BRITs’ WhatsApp channel.
