BLACKPINK have announced plans to launch a new series of digital collectibles inspired by their 2022 song ‘Pink Venom’.

The K-pop band’s new series sees them collaborate with New Zealand-based company VeVe, and are reported to be available from May 22-26.

In a new blog post, VeVe promised that the collectibles will see “each member portrayed in dynamic poses inspired by ‘Pink Venom’”.

They added: “Fans who collect all four digital collectibles of a member will be eligible to craft one free ‘Pink Venom’ collectible card featuring a member’s signature, making them eligible to participate in a craft to purchase event for an exclusive digital collectible.”

BLACKPINK are currently on a break from band-related activities, with Lisa recently announcing her acting debut and Jennie re-launching her solo career after half a decade.

Jennie and Lisa also have their own labels, called Odd Atelier (OA) and LLOUD respectively, while Jisoo last week launched her own label, Blissoo.

BLACKPINK’s last single came in the form of ‘The Girls’, which arrived last year as part of the soundtrack for the Korean group’s new mobile video game, BLACKPINK THE GAME.

All four band members signed a new exclusive agreement with YG Entertainment at the end of last year, with the company promising “new albums” and “world tours” from the quartet.
