Barry Can’t Swim has announced details of his second studio album and shared a huge new single.

The Scottish producer, real name Joshua Mainnie, will release the Loner LP on July 11 via Ninja Tune, following his 2023 debut When Will We Land?.

The album is being previewed today by its new single, the huge and club-ready ‘Different’. It follows the recent release of album opener ‘The Person You’d Like To Be’ and 2024 single ‘Still Riding’.

This album is a process of looking at my success, and figuring out who I am, and understanding that,” Mainnie said of the new album.
